We went on Christmas Eve and the restaurant was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and timely

Christmas Eve dinner. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant has a nice vibe. Fancy without being stuffy. We were sat in the main dining room which has water front views. Our waiter (I believe he said Kumar but my hearing is not good) was excellent. The food was really good. We started with honey lime shrimp & a bottle of wine Husband had flounder with a spicey vinaigrette with risotto and vegetables and I had the salmon Rockefeller with mash and asparagus. We both loved the meals we chose. Finished with Hummingbird cake (YUM!) and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Favorite restaurant on HHI. Always excellent service and food. Server Amanda treated us great. We had pan roast oysters with sherry cream broth, roast oysters ,Monkfish with wild mushrooms sauce, ,very good, blackened redfish, even better, also half priced bottle of wine night, Desert, pave chocolate, caramel cake, and cream brûlée. We have been dinning here once a year since the 70s. When Charlie’s was where the sea grass grill is now.

Return trip to this casual neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and excellent service (thanks, lori!). varied menu has something for everyone, they offer seating indoor dining room, in the bar area, or on a large outdoor patio. Our meals (including oysters, grilled fish special, seafood platter, ceaser salad) were excellent, a welcome, fun dinner after a long day of travelling. Plenty of parking nearby and - a bonus - Shelter Cove christmas decorations are quite festive! We could eat here every day...and we just might.

Though we had a great table for two, resturants in SC don’t have double entrance doors. Every time someone came into Jane we received a blast of cold air.and it was very cold. Should have asked to move to other side of the restaurant - much warmer.
