Our Farm-to-Table Restaurant offers fresh food focused on local sourcing and home-made recipees. Our beef is raised in Holgate, OH and processed locally. The cheese on our boards is made from local, whole milk in Hicksville, OH. We use 100% California olive oil in our oil based dressings - it is not cut with canola/soy/vegetable oils. Our flatbreads come in at less than 30 carbs each. We are known for our cocktails, particularly our Old Fashioneds and our Seasonal Speicialty Drinks. Our building was constructed in 1871, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019 and completely renovated to expose it's historic lines and features in 2021. Really enjoyed the lunch today with my family. Food was amazing today, everything came out hot and just like we ordered. For larger parties consider leaving a carafe or two of water on the table makes it easier. Our waitress had us, a 12 top and a couple of 4 tops, so having someone helping with water, silverware and picking up plates would help. Overall, we will be back for sure.

The lunch special is an excellent value. The steak is always juicy and tender. The service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We highly recommend the lunch special at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.

We have two favorite places in Defiance, Ohio to eat and this is one of them. If you are from out of town, it is worth a trip to visit and eat at Dark Horse Social Club. The staff and owners are so nice. The menu is changed several times a year, so there is always something different to try.
