Gola Osteria is tucked inside the Historic Quarry Arms Building, providing an atmosphere of old world charm that features antique Stickley style furniture. Our signage in and around the building is limited due to landmark regulations.     Delicious food, festive occasion, bustling restaurant but we felt very private and happy in our table in a back corner. Attentive but not intrusive service. Food presented nicely, good variety of dishes, we all enjoyed our meals, whether seafood or Italian specialties. Not rushed through it, either; plenty of time to linger over our meals. We always enjoy our time at Gola!

    The food was outstanding! My wife had the prime rib, which she said was delicious. It was a VERY good sized portion. I had the petite filet, which was one of the best I have ever had. Our waitress was Chelsea, and she was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of all the items we asked about on the menu. Overall, the experience was truly wonderful.

    Visited on Saturday, December 7 at 7:15. Promptly greeted and seated by the hostess. She came by a few minutes later, took our drink order and let us know our waiter would be with us soon to take our order and deliver our drinks. Other tables were waiting for a long time for the same waiter who appeared frazzled. We didn’t get our drinks for over 15 minutes and it took him even longer to take our food order. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly and was delicious. We had pasta florentine, Cajun chicken, and the crème brûlée cheesecake, amazing dessert! A hostess swung by a couple times to check in, she was fabulous! Wish I knew her name. Overall would recommend and return.
