Restaurants near Mount Vernon Shopping Center

Over the years, this chain has perfected their menu, so everything on it is perfectly done. So it's was no surprise the every item was excellent, starting with their great bread. However, nothing would taste great unless the service was good. Crystal was our waitress and she was awesome! She was very serious that we were pleased with everything. Thanks, Crystal, for helping to provide a really lovely Christmas dinner for me and my friend.

We had such a great dining experience. The service was great. The staff and waiter were very attentive, thoughtful, and helpful. The food was okay. We will definitely be back.

Had a great time here. We never felt rushed or under pressure to order something. Chips and salsa came right away and were delicious. We ordered the "grande" margaritas and were disappointed when they came, they seemed like regular size to me. Then our server, Stephen, came and told us that he messed up and would be giving us a free refill. Problem solved. We had the guacamole appetizer and honestly it was probably the best guac we've ever had (and we have it a lot). Our entrees were equally delicious. I had a basic taco salad and my wife had the fish of the day, salmon, and both were fantastic. Not sure what it is they put on their food but there's something that kicks it up a notch from other Mexican restaurants. We were there during the "Festival of Lights at the mission and everything lit up as we were eating making it even more festive. Prices are a little steep for me but were expected.

Wonderful setting, fantastic food and our waiter was really wonderful. He (Arturo?) was so patient with us and our senior minds- changing drinks and asking him questions. He delighted our friend by letting her try to speak Spanish! Thank you for a great memory!
