Restaurants near Mount Elphinstone Park

The food is great, and the service is good. However, there’s a seating issue to note: even if you book a standard table, you may be seated outdoors unless you specifically “request” indoor seating in the OpenTable app. If you don’t make that request, there’s a big chance you’ll end up outside, even in cold weather. It would be great if the booking system with the restaurant clarified this or if staff confirmed seating preferences ahead of time.

Every bite was outstanding! Prefer the lower level for ambiance but enjoyed our dinner very much!

Awesome service and delicious food in a beautiful restaurant. The food presentation is beautiful and is served promptly. I highly recommend the scallops and if available the, uni. The brussel sprouts are addictive. I will have the lamb on my next visit. For desert, the Green Tea Opera is outstanding! Don’t miss this gem in Vancouver!

The food was very good, and prices in line with other good restaurants. We had very good service and help choosing wine. The selection for food is almost everything you could want from seafood and fish to so much more. My steak was overdone but given a fresh one very quickly. Dessert was chocolate lava cake. My husband gives it a 5/5. The view was magical with all the Christmas trees on the lawn lit and Vancouver was lit up beautifully. A really lovely night out. We will be going again soon as week night is not as busy as weekends.

Had another lovely dinner at Chaster House. Always delicious. We started with a beet salad which was incredible, and then ordered Short Ribs and the beef tenderloin, both delicious. It was concerning that there was only one other couple dining while we were there, and on a Friday night! It was empty! I would hate to lose this gem of a restaurant, but perhaps the higher prices have forced patrons elsewhere.
