- JJonSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy girlfriend and I had a word-class experience at Fukuzushi last night. Let me tell you guys all about it: Food: Not much needs to be said. Mr. and Mrs. Fukuzushi plan ahead of time to make sure our traditional omakaze suit our tastes. The quality of our food was exceptional. Sensei drives a hefty distance in the morning to make sure our food is the catch of the day. Every bite will leave you saying “OISHI,” so make sure to pick up the phone or respond to the email. Oh, and make sure to have an empty stomach! Service: There’s a story behind every bite. Mr. And Mrs. make sure to tell us about the history and culture, along with the processes behind each serving. There’s 4 generations of knowledge behind the two of them and the effort spent to allow us to enjoy our evening was second to none. Truly an eye-opening experience and one I will not forget. Highly recommend coming to have dinner here; it will most certainly be the omakaze experience you’ve ever had.More infoFukuzushiPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Roppongi•5
- MMeetaChicago / Illinois •47 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024We visited Sougo on our first night in Tokyo. We had heard it was excellent, and it truly surpassed all our expectations. The ambience, the quality and favor profile of the food, the drinks, the attention to every small detail, the service, the extremely welcoming staff and chef: everything was perfection. The value for money for the quality you get is amazing! We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend dining there while in Tokyo!More infoSougoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Roppongi•4.6
- SSamurai6San Francisco Bay Area •688 reviews5.0Dined on May 18, 2024Very strange that I’m coming to Tokyo to enjoy American steak but Empire is a quick walk from my Roppongi hotel and the service here is top notch fantastic. It’s also friendly for solo diners and many of the salads and sides can be ordered half-size. They also carry my favorite Napa Merlot by Duckhorn. Head waiter Ito-san is about as professional and old-school as you can find anywhere these days …….all I can say is that Empire is worth the visit and cost because sometimes, no matter where you are, that craving for a juicy, rare, grass-fed USDA prime cut of beef must be fulfilled, with extreme perfection!!More infoEmpire Steak House RoppongiPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Roppongi•4.8

The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Recommendation: sit in the counter area and not at a table to see the kitchen/food prep at work. This place will have a Michelin star at some point: it's that good, so go now when it's accessible and reasonably priced.More infoS'accapauPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Nishi Azabu•4.5
