New Year's Day lunch with friends, oh my goodness I had the white crab linguine starter and it was stunning, for the main course I had steak fritts fabulous!

Really enjoyed the Cote breakfast on New Year’s Day. Excellent food, very pleasant and efficient staff - just a little noisy. This is as a result of sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. We recently attended similar restaurants that have installed ceiling baffles that improved the noise significantly.

Staying in the local area for a week, saw the sign for the countryman and decided to book a table for the carvey on Sunday. We turned up with our dog at 2.45pm and shown to our table. Ideal position in a corner with plenty of room for us and the dog to lay out. We both went for the carvery and I can tell you yhat you won't be disappointed, choice of 3 meats and help yourself to roasties and plenty of vegetables. Only £13.95 for the regular size, there is a small plate for children and a large plate for those with a real big appetite. Didn't have room for a pudding but a good selection at reasonable prices. Definitely going back during the week to try something from the daily menu. Very enjoyable visit.

The level of custi.er service I received on a recent visit was close to exceptional. The food was excellent and not over prized. Dessert was amazing.

Great experience and enjoyed the theatre cooking the steak at the table.
