Restaurants near Modern Loop Apartments

This was our second time dining at Bar Mar and we absolutely loved it both times! The ambiance, hostess staff, cocktails, wine selection, caviar cones, and too many items on the food menu to name! Our waiter Alex was so attentive and didn’t rush us. And who can forget the Bar - just spectacular! Would definitely return.

Bazaar Meat is an extraordinary steak house with creative dishes,high quality meat, good service and fair price. Besides the delicious coffee steak (I forget the exact name, it's a steak aged with coffee bean powder I think) especially enjoy the foie gras in cotton candy, and the scallop, their scallops are pretty soft and chewy. Also, a vast kind of wines are provided.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at 312 Chicago before a show at the Cadillac Theater. Food was exceptional, bartender fielded a creative holiday order, and server was excellent. Only negative was delayed service owing, as we understand it, to numerous employee no-shows in protest of a looming closure...very unfortunate as this is an outstanding loop fixture.

Awesome restaurant. Ordered from their special menu - party of 10 for Xmas lunch - late afternoon Food was great. Service was very slow. We had to go to kitchen to get someone to our table. maybe they were on break?

Everything was a 10/10! Great food, great service, and very nice ambiance. Our server (don’t recall his name but he was a Hispanic gentleman) was very attentive, nice and management was friendly and seemed involved. Would definitely return and recommend!
