Restaurants near Mijares Square

Everything was delicious, we had the focaccia with butter as starter and shared little of everything on the menu as our entrees, we were a group of 5, and were truly happy with all the food. The bruce cake was gigantic and so chocolatey. The restaurant was packed and we still got our food quickly. A must in San José.

Excellent food. Shrimp tempura was delicious so were grilled oysters. Catch of the day was very fresh and prepared perfectly. Excellent service. We will definitely be back.

Great food - the burrata was amazing and came on a bed of green beans and salsa macha, a Mexican version of chili oil. Ordered the roasted cauliflower and found it to be a great vegetarian option. For mains, we ordered the lobster tortellini in a butternut squash sauce and the parpardelle in a ragu sauce. Food was great quality with good portions (cauliflower was a bit on the smaller side though, even for an appetizer). The desserts were good but, compared to the food, a bit underwhelming. In terms of drinks, they have great non-alcoholic options and a cocktail list with a variety of different liquors as a base for each one. Their wine list offers a great selection from different countries as well.

Beautiful space - so nice to watch the stars come out. Live entertainment was great! Food was great - especially the shrimp. Cocktails were good too. Highly recommend!
