Restaurants near Miami Sun Hotel - Downtown/Port of Miami

2nd time here in the same number of weeks. Food is fantastic, team is friendly and fun, and atmosphere is perfect for a downtown spot. Too many epic dishes to go over, but I will share pictures. If you’re looking for a place in downtown you haven’t been to, this should be the #1 place on your list, as all your friends will want to show their friends. Rooftop terrace is especially great, plus live DJ on some nights. Lastly, it’s just a 6 minute walk from MODE, the new hottest cocktail lounge (upstairs) + club (downstairs) in Miami. So perfect combination to take your date or friends there after a delicious meal. Howard

We were in downtown for one night & went here for dinner. It was the best part of our stay in Miami. We were greeted warmly and sat quickly. I did have a reservation and would highly encourage one. It is a small venue with additional outside seating. Our server Dani was great! The entire staff provided exceptional service. They have a wide array of dishes to please even the pickiest eater. Everything we ate was beyond delicious. The food came out piping hot. We each had soup and a pasta. The pasta tasted as if made fresh. So good. If I'm ever back in Miami, I would definitely recommend.

From the moment you enter and see the funky, eclectic decor, you know that you're in a welcoming space. You'll be warmly greeted and seated. The menu offers enough plates to allow for a variety of palates, but few enough that allow them to be perfected. The homemade pasta dishes are always an excellent choice, the salads are fresh and the panini are lovely. If you love eggplant parmigiani, you're in luck. And the dessert menu is divine!

The restaurant was great. When you walk in you’re greeted immediately everyone is smiling ! Is a welcoming environment. The pastries in the display get your mouth watering! All the food is tasty. Highlight : Tuna Tartare it’s the best one in Miami. Pizza exceeded our expectations, crunchy, perfectly cooked. And the pastas were super tasty and filling. Oh and do NOT skip on desserts. The Pastry Chef Breanna actually presented them to us. And described in detail. Cheesecake was soo good my friend was almost scrapping the plate. The Chocolate bar is phenomenal!!!!!! It’s nutty, chocolaty , rich, with a tropical flavor. Tiramisu was fantastic, great modern play on the classic. We will be back.
