Restaurants near Mesquite Park

Gorgeous Victorian dinning experience. Skillful waiters allowed us an uninterrupted dinner. All but one in our party felt the entree was excellent. The brandy prawns were thought to be too heavy a tomato sauce with not great flavor.

The perfect spot for a business lunch.The restaurant is filled with natural light and ha a warm comfortable vibe. There was a good energy in the room, yet not to loud. The dishes are designed for sharing, which invites conversation. The food was on point! The confit duck tacos were especially tasty, but everything we ordered was outstanding! The staff was courteous and knowledgeable and provided the perfect amount of space.

My wife and I found our experience joyful. Anticipating a draft whenever the door opened, we selected the mezzanine which we found to be intimate and quieter than near the bar. For our starter, we shared the crepe du jour. A meal in itself. We then ordered the Poulet Frites and the Gnocchi a la Parisienne as our entrees along with the Brussels Sprout Gratin and Button Mushrooms Provençal as our sides. Each entree was enough for two people as were each of the sides, so we went away with quite a bit of food for another day or even two. Given the portions and quality of the food, prices are rather exceptional.

What great fun. Good corner table, eclectic menu that produced a challenge to choose and Taryn provided exceptional service. Lively Friday night crowd but not rushed to leave after dinner. We’ll be back.

Friday and Saturdays are great as have a prime rib special. Always a friendly loud crowd, some refer to Ricardo’s as Santa Rosa’s “Cheers”. Salads and soups are excellent. Happy hour drink prices reasonable.
