Restaurants near Melton Hill Dam

This has quickly become my current favorite restaurant in Knoxville. I had never visited until after a friend took me to the Charlotte location, several weeks ago. Since then, I’ve made the 45-mile trip to the Knoxville location 3 times… in the last 3 weeks! Everything I’ve tried from the menu has been excellent, from the steaks to the ribs, to the new Prime Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich. My only complaint is the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding has been taken off the menu, and replaced with a White Chocolate Raspberry Bread Pudding. The new version is just “okay.” The Bananas Foster version was worth the 45-mile drive.

Great staff and very good, extensive menu. We sat near the fireplace -- very nice! This is a great restaurant to visit during the holidays as it's beautifully decorated. Highly recommended!

Conners is always great. However, the very expensive prime ribeye cap ($80) was just okay but not great like I expected. Just be aware if youre considering that cut. Get the bisque it's the best I've ever had.

We always love eating at Chesapeaks! Went for a birthday celebration with friends. Everything was great except for the main course. It was dry and tough and I'm talking about fish! We reported it to the server. Here comes the manager who remade our meal, then comped it and 2 desserts. The replacement meal was much better and we appreciate Chesapeaks for salvaging our meal and celebration! Thank you

Great dining. Chef Brian made sure our steaks were perfect. Our server Heidi was attentive and kind. Ian the bartender made great drinks. Always impressed by the staff and service here. Highly recommend!
