Wonderful experience from start to finish. My wife and I made reservations for our 25th Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised when the hostess took us to our window seat overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay. She handed us our menus, and they had been custom printed with a personalized congratulations on our 25th anniversary, with our names on it; nice touch.👍 Our waiter was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Thank you to the staff at the Chart House for making it such a wonderful experience.

This was an amazing experience. Fabulous setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Big Sur. The salad was prepared with freshly sourced greens and vegetables topped off with a home made ranch dressing. It was great. The carrot soup was smooth and elegantly topped off with fresh chopped apple pieces. The fresh striped Pacific Bass was seared to perfection and the flat iron steak was tender and delicious. The apple crunch top desert was exquisite with crema on top accompanied by a slice of dried apple. This is a can't miss experience for the amazing setting and superb food and service.

I cannot say enough good things about The Sur House! You will not find a more gorgeous view, amazing food, and the most wonderful staff! We say the same thing every time we visit, and it’s what keeps us coming back! It’s the most special place in Big Sur!
