- AAaronAustin •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI am convinced this is the best restaurant in Austin. We have been here twice and both times nothing missed at all. The food is prepared at 3 star Michelin level, and the chef is brave enough to tie food groups together that you would have never expected to be compliments of each other. The waiters are in another league of their own whenever compared to other wait staffs. They are incredibly knowledgeable of their menu, they are prompt, and most importantly they make you feel comfortable in their restaurant. It’s clear that the entire staff has a passion for the restaurant and serving people the most amazing food possible.More infowinkPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.8

Food was excellent as always, Garrett was a terrific server and the environment was great for our group to celebrate. - NNicolevipSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI rarely take the time to write reviews but this one really deserves it. We hail from San Francisco so we weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in Austin. We were blown away. We ordered the snapper and special pasta (chicken filled ravioli.) The snapper was cooked on their plancha and retained it's moistness. The pasta is on the top five list of pastas I have ever had in my life. I think they must have used smoked chicken from their wood burning grill. We weren't in the mood for beef, but wish we were as everything that was coming off that grill looked over the top good. We were fortunate enough to be sat at the kitchen counter (or they accidentally gave away our table for 2 and had to seat us there) so we had a front row seat to the magic that was coming out of the kitchen. This is kind of a nerdy comment, but the expediter gets an A+. They had a very large party upstairs (like 8 family style dishes at a time) and some how he was able to get all the other food out in a timely manner.More infoRed Ash ItaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.9

One of our favorite places is in Austin and will continue to come back.More infoALC Steaks (Austin Land & Cattle)Price: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.6
