A favorite Southwest Virginia landmark, The Farmhouse Restaurant has served the New River Valley since 1963. The authentic farm house, originally part of the Ridinger Estate, was build in the 1800's. In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area.     Our reservations got canceled at another restaurant at the last minute because of a power outage…boy was I glad they were. This was our first visit and it was amazing. The views at sunset were incredible. The food, staff, and establishment were perfection. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the best carrot cake we’ve ever had! This will definitely be our new Valentine’s Day tradition. Thank you for saving the day Leatherflower!

    We go there frequently as its just a few miles from our home. The food is great, the service is always a 5 out of 5 and Never been disappointed. If you want a great meal, great service in a upscale atmosphere, this is the place. Its a great place to celebrate an anniversary, birthday or just enjoy one of the best meals with a scenic view and the best chef’s and waitstaff. We go there usually weekly and never been disappointed.

    My girlfriend and I had dinner at the Farmhouse to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we had a great time. The food was amazing and our waitress Brooke was an absolute joy to be around. Couldn’t have asked for a better date we had an awesome time!
