Restaurants near Longwood Village Shopping Center

It’s a space with five too many tables. Not intimate like I thought it would be. It is loud so conversations are hard to have. Chairs at the tables are not comfortable. With the price of the food I expected an elevated experience.

Chris, my server, helped me decide on something new to have today. Wonderful chicken with a wonderful light crusty something or other. Mary’s potatoes and green beans. Baby tomatoes, halved, dotted the plate. Absolutely delicious! First time Chris has been my server. He was delightful. Always great to see Shaun. Manager Ryan Jones is always friendly and accommodating. Wine bar servers Shay and Chris were fun, attentive and informative. In spite of the crowd, they were patient and could not have been nicer! Food and wine and whole experience were great! Miss Cookie is a sweetheart!

The filet was perfectly seasoned and prepared, and of course, the pork chop is in a league of its own. What out our evening over the top was the waitperson, Jennifer. Professional, perfectly timed checking on us, and one of the most pleasant servers we’ve had in a long time! Perry’s is fortunate to have her on their staff.

We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the Dealers choice wine selections. It’s a fun way to try and discover new wines.

This is our second visit to The Boathouse but a different location to check out the view and scenery. We were celebrating a birthday. The food was very good with great selection of beverages to complement our meal. Our server was very nice and checked in on us but not to a point of being overbearing like some other establishments we have visited. We will definitely visit again likely at another location to check out their scenery.
