The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. Our third or fourth visit with friends, each time the food, drink and ambience are consistently good, the food is fab! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely recommend you try it, if you haven’t already - 5 stars
