Restaurants near Live Oak Park

Came to check out the Sippin Santa. Wasn’t sure about the menu but the food ended up being amazing. Took awhile to be seated even with reservations so be patient.

We had a wonderful late lunch at Monti’s today. This was my first time back since the “reimagining” and I loved it! I had the Monti’s Cristo sandwich, which was fantastic. My friend had the sirloin burger and loved it. While both sandwiches were a generous size, they did not come with sides, so if you want fries, they’re extra. All the servers and staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable with a nice, upgraded style.. All in all it was terrific and I will definitely go back soon. My friend and I had a fabulous evening overall. The only negatives were that they do not have anchovies for the Cesar salad (only in the dressing which was excellent, but we like anchovies on top also and the server said they don't have any to spare) oh and they were out of chocolate gelato. Minor inconvenience. Looking forward to going back. Very nice ambiance. Server was delightful..

My wife and I had our annual Christmas dinner at La Gare on Dec 18, 2024. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Amy was our waitress. She was personable and professional. My wife ordered wild king salmon and loved the dish. I had prime rib that was cooked perfect and quite tasty. La Gare never disappoints.

My buddy and I just wanted to have a quiet place where we could talk at a bar. I asked Matt if the Corpse Reviver cocktail worked, cause I needed it. He said it would and it did. My friend had the Smash Burger and I did another appetizer. I highly recommend this great spot with a good atmosphere.
