Restaurants near Lighthouse Park

We were there for the first night of Dine Out. Not surprisingly there were a couple of minor hiccups (no server for first 15 minutes and desserts were a little slow). But the food was really good and the service ended up being quite good and professional. We plan to go back for the regular menu.

The food and service was VERY GOOD. Excellent, high quality sushi. Interior is a little dated, but still nice. Our server (so sorry I didn’t catch his name) was absolutely 10 out of 10.

Christian waited on us and was excellent. He was very accommodating to some of our request, dietary needs and even agreed to ask the Chef to change the type of broth of their Seafood bowl, from a coconut broth to a white wine creamy sauce. We were four and all loved our meal. I had the classic Salmon Trio, which was perfectly cooked ! (Very moist, not dry) My GF had the Sable Fish, simply melt in your mouth. Even the Praws Egg rolls were excellent. The restaurant looked great and even at night had spectacular views ! Very Sad to hear they may be closing this year after 48 years of existence. ....say it isn't so !! Definitely need to go back a couple more times before its gone. Patrick

Great food and great ambience. A lovely gem in west vancouver

We were very pleased with the food and service. Our disappointment was that the trout was ocean farmed so not sustainable. We made other choices because of that.
