- CConnieVIPPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur waiter at Bistro 11 was exceptional. He never "intruded" on our conversation...always just paused at the table. Our meal was delicious-our salads were fresh with not too much dressing. Our meat was tender and the serving was generous. The restrooms are clean, nicely decorated , with towels instead of blowers. The Bistro was very busy, which was good...but it got very noisy. I suppose that can't be helped in that it is a busy and popular restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant evening.More infoBistro 11Price: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hagerstown•4.9
- FFaytheVirginia •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOK, we really did want to like this and overall, we really did. It’s beautiful inside. I know some people have issues with the bar area, but it THEIR issues. I thought it was beautiful and comforting and enfolding . The service was outstanding. You wanted for nothing. Now let’s talk food… We had the seafood combination for an appetizer which everyone really loved and the presentation was nice. For my entree I had pork. I hate to say this, but it was so tough. It needed brined. I know Brian Voltaigio should know this so I don’t know why it was not done. It’s no big deal to put X amount of chops in a brine, put it in the walk-in refrigerator for 12 hours or so and have fabulous flavor. The rub (?) was really good, and the grits that came with. Also very good as well were the sweet potato little towers. But come on, let’s not be lazy. Let’s brine our pork. Also my husband thought the steak was chewy. Probably another missed step in prep. I’m saying it’s because I’m hoping that they read it and they make changes. Otherwise it was a fabulous experience and I’m gonna give them another chance when I get back into Frederick.More infoWye Oak TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Frederick•4.6
