Restaurants near Lake Waccamaw State Park

Another great visit to Seabird, one of the best restaurants in Wilmington. This visit was for Brunch, great menu with many local options. We was sitting right away, the restaurant was busy with only one other table sitting empty (not for long), but the restaurant was running smoothly, and we was greeted by our server right away,- The server explained the menu, and pointed out what made some of the dishes extra special. We order coffee (served fresh and hot) right away, and we order our entrees. Both entrees was delivered in 10 minutes, and was delicious! We will be back again soon! What I really love about Restaurant Seabird is that the restaurant is great for so many things…. A drink (or two) at the Bar, many times with a couple of appetizers, for a great casual meal on a weekday, for a nice get together, dressed up a little for Friday or Saturday and of course for Brunch on the weekends…. You will be happy if you visit, I do recommend making a reservation for the dining room, have always been able to get a chair or two at the Bar !

Lucca Italian Chophouse always delivers. I am stuck on the same dish each time we visit because it’s the best gnocchi I’ve had. I only order it here. We rarely order appetizers because the portions are large and our dishes typically have an accompanying salad. We tried the arancini tonight and will be adding it to the lineup. Delicious! As always, wonderful staff, food and service. Looking forward to the summer when we get to visit more regularly.

Was a wonderful Valentine experience at one of my favorite restaurants. You can always expect the service to be exceptional and the food is always spectacular. They never disappoint me and we have been going for many years. Always my special place for all my celebrations.

Great atmosphere and great food. We both ordered one of the specials that were offered. Chilean Sea Bass was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Elks was also very delicious and had a nice crust on the outside. Our server Matt was on point relaying all of the specials and getting our drink order very quickly. Staff is very friendly and Patrick makes a point of visiting your table to ensure your experience is going well. Will definitely return soon to enjoy another great evening at The Rock!!

The lunch was good and the price affordable. Service and customer service was acceptable. Noise level was extreme but with high ceilings And wooden floors, not much can be done to approve the noise. I would say that the very unattractive item is the oldies and uncleanliness of the ladies bathroom. Will all the profit that the company makes with restaurants and a gift shop, some money could be Invested in improving the bathroom issues.
