I went to the original WC several years ago and was super excited when the RR location opened. The food is phenomenal! We ordered the fried green tomatoes which were great as was the aioli. Perfect amount of lemon and heat. The Mac n cheese is to die for! It’s perfect. The steak and frites were also superb, but honestly the fries were only okay. The whiskey selection is of course fantastic and plentiful. My partner doesn’t really like whiskey and had a whiskey cocktail that was enjoyable (Bohemian Raspberry) and there are a lot of other beverages to choose from that don’t have whiskey in them. The noise level was surprisingly low from 3:00-5:00 even while being pretty steady. 100% will go back! Thank you Chef Josh for the dessert! It was perfect and I understand why it’s the only dessert option. It’s all you need!

Always a fantastic experience, truly, lately has even been my favorite restaurant in Austin, and I’m very much a native. Customer service and ambiance are always fly far above reproach. This outing, their GM Matt even texted personally to see if we’d like to move in to a better reservation… bravo! For recommendations, the spicy margs, machete (fancy quesadilla) , crab tostada, Caesar salad, salmon, and carne asada are some of our very favorites. Try a mezcal and recommendation too, impressive list. My Spanish CEO, a bit of a wine aficionado, was a bit skeptical, but every bottle has exceeded his high bar. Oh and they have a fantastic happy hour and Friday lunch. Enjoy!

Beautiful place and just real good food. Nothing too fancy but still very nice…get a booth or sit outside for the gorgeous view. It was cold so we got one the fantastic big booths and sipped wine and ate so much, it was perfect. This place is going on the regular rotation.

My first time there and seems the manager made sure everything was good for us and loved that our waitress was super nice knowledgeable about the whole menu helped us and constantly checking on us I loved the view they put us at it was just the most amazing place to celebrate our 6 year anniversary thank yall for being sooo good I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK for mothers day ❤️

Chef Matilde and waitress Melissa were wonderful. For dessert, we had the fried Oreos which were out of this world! The tasted light and fluffy and reminded me of what Oreo beignets would taste like. We’re coming back just for this dessert!! Beautiful views as well.
