Restaurants near La Plume Station

We love the Alter House! We started coming here a couple years ago, and it is now a highlight of our ski trips up to Elk. The food is delicious, and last night they had live music which was great. It was a wonderful dinner and we will be back the next time we are in Clarks Summit.

The drink recommendation was right on. We split the steak special and it was delicious. They also have the best cream brûlée. My husband said his Caesar salad was one of the best.

wonderful dining experience. Food, drinks, and service were top notch. The servers were extremely attentive and efficient. The food had wonderful presentation and delicious taste. A bit "pricey" for this area, but well worth it. We will return!

The special salmon stuffed with jumbo lump crab meat was exceptional with the mashed potatoes and the broccoli, rabe, pair martini was excellent as was the quilt Cabernet Sauvignon. cod, fish and chips were excellent as well as the vodka martini. Service was exceptional. Alycia was excellent, knowledgeable, professional and brought our food out in a timely manner. She was excellent just stopped by to say hi and engaged in conversation she is excellent and professional as well and knowledgeable. Great staff up there. Food was exceptional.

This was my second experience at The Refinery, and I loved it even more than the first. I highly recommend the Tuna Crudo app and the Long Stem Artichokes. My mother had the Trofie pasta with vodka sauce and seafood. It has a spicy kick, FYI. I enjoyed the Swordfish with mussels and shrimp. The portions were substantial and beautifully presented. Here's the kicker: THE SERVICE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Next-level servers and they work together to make your evening smooth and seamless. Next time I'm saving room for an espresso martini and some dessert.
