Such an incredible and unique restaurant. The view is amazing overlooking the church and ocean. Sunsets here at the start of the dinner are romantic. The waiters are all very professional and trained for a spectacular fine dining experience. The food is just as delicious as the view. We love coming here and the sister restaurant - The Iguana. The live string quartet is also very romantic! All around a must if you’re visiting the area.

Fabulous setting and quality of food. Shame that management have not trained the waiters to the level of service etiquette expected in a top notch restaurant. For example , they should not clear plates away until everyone at the table has finished . The waiters were clearing each person’s plate as soon as they finished putting pressure on the others at the table to hurry up and finish their food ! Also , the waiters were serving from left and right instead of from left to right.

This spot is a must see in Puerto Vallarta. You feel like you are miles away from the bustling city. The food is over the top, beautiful, and delicious. The service from Isreal and Luis was attentive and professional, yet warm and friendly. The place is beautiful, segmented to feel intimate. Highly recommended this place

This restaurant is wonderful. One of thee most memorable dinning experiences I’ve had. My fiancé and I were seated in the best table of the restaurant, right in front of the lovers bridge with a perfect view of the city and a most gorgeous sunset falling on the ocean. Our server Raul was informative and extremely attentive, he made us feel special with his service. It was such a treat to be eating in Elizabeth Taylor’s former home, the home was beautiful! The food was delicious and the music was extremely romantic. We also had a pleasant surprise of a mariachi band playing at the restaurant (one of the best mariachi’s I’ve heard). We are looking forward to having this experience again in the future. Gracias Raul!

Have eaten at La Palapa many times. For breakfast lunch and dinner. Always outstanding food and outstanding service with a beautiful view. Last night we had fresh Seabass and fresh red snapper. Prepared excellent. Our server Gilbert was attentive, spoke great English. And make sure we had a very pleasant experience.
