The staff is always very friendly and very professional - and great dining experience that we recommend highly!More infoThe Farmhouse at VeritasPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Charlottesville•4.9
- KKaitlinSeattle / Eastern Washington •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025The Vibe: Slightly upscale without feeling stuffy. Cool bar area. Pleasing athletics and lighting and music was at a good volume. The Food: PHENOMENAL! SO GOOD! Steaks are cooked over a wood fire and there is just nothing like that sear and char on a wonderful cut of meat from an open flame! Love that the steaks were served with a side of sea salt. It was seasoning perfectly but the extra salt was a nice touch for those who would want it. Impressed! The sides were equally impressive! The tartare was so flavorful and seasoned well! The Service: Professional and timely. Very knowledgeable about all food menu items. Explained the cuts of meat well. The Cocktails: Okay. Classics were done well but nothing blew me away. Understand that the meat is the star of the show here! The Value: Worth it!!! Prices listed are just for the meat. Sides are not included. So just keep that in mind for your budget and what experience you would like to have! Overall: Highly RecommendMore infoBlack Cow ChophousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Charlottesville•4.9

It was an Italian themed menu, every course was delicious, the chandeliers and wine barrels in the space made for lovely ambience, and our server Caroline was excellent.More infoCrossKeys BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Mount Crawford•4.7
