Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority.     Relaxing ambience in a dimly-lit semi-formal environment. Excellent service by our waitress, who had a great knowledge of the menu. She was attentive, energetic, and added joy to our experience. The portion sizes were adequate, but could be more for the price of the items. Highly recommend!

    We had a wonderful experience! We arrived just before 7:30 and easily found parking. The staff were attentive and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mixed game grill starter, I highly recommend it! It was our first time here and also my first time trying emu and bison, they were so good. We ordered the emu fan fillet as our entrees and it was incredible. The cocktails were delicious, as was the dessert. We can’t wait to return to The Gamekeeper!
