34 is Chef Emeril Lagasse’s first restaurant dedicated to the cuisine of his Portuguese heritage. He was inspired by his late mother, Hilda, who influenced his interest in cooking when he was a child growing up in Fall River, MA. The 245-seat restaurant is adorned in shades of green – Emeril’s signature color – wood accents and ornate Portuguese tiles. A painting of a rooster, a national Portuguese symbol of good luck, greets guests at the entrance.     My wife, son, and I visited while on vacation for our 15th anniversary (wife and I of course, son is 5). Food was amazing and the staff were great. The history of the Bananas Foster makes the sugary dish even better… a must visit when in New Orleans.

    Our evening was amazing! Chuck, our server, was terrific! He is an asset to the restaurant and made our experience at Antoine’s SO special! He enlightened us with restaurant history, made us laugh and he took the time to explain the dishes that make Antoine’s so unique. This establishment is a such a gem! Thank you for making my husbands birthday so memerable.

    Stated with the fins , outstanding , great concept! Lobster risotto was excellent , not lacking any lobster. First time trying dry aged fish. Swordfish had a very buttery texture. Also outstanding. Sweet and salty dessert also very good , put us over the top. Need to step up their craft beer choices.

    Had a business dinner and had to change my reservation count at the last minute. No problem! Food was great! Service was great! Heather was our server and had some great recommendations and was very personable adding to our great experience. Will eat here again when I come back to New Orleans!
