Gaylords now rebranded as The Plantation House by Gaylords offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Located in the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi poke, fried brie, fresh seafood, delicious steaks and vegan entrees too. Don't forget about our famous Banana Cream Pie for dessert! Take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the Koloa Rum shop, go on a rum safari adventure or take a ride on the plantation train.     We had an amazing thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. Everything was delicious and the waiters are very friendly and welcoming. Best honeycomb salad, the ribs were great and turkey was perfect. Great atmosphere with light music.

    We love Gaylords. Always great food and service. We had Thanksgiving dinner last year at Gaylords and had an awesome Ono meal, so we booked again this year. Gaylords never disappoints. Our waitress, Davis, was outstanding.

    We were greeted by Giuseppe the owner who seated us at a table with a spectacular view of the ocean and the mountains. We started with perfect Mai Tais. The bread was delicious a dipped in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the unique dispenser for both. We split a beet and Gorgonzola walnut salad and had a wonderful Italian red wine called Zacagnini Montepulcian. So smooth and full bodied! I had Seafood Diavalo which was linguine and seafood in a light red sauce. Big hunk of lobster and calimari, shrimp, clams and fresh fish. My wife had melt in your mouth ossobucco. Wow! Dessert was profiteroles which are tiny cream puffs filled with gelato and drizzled with Belgian chocolate with decaf cappuccino. Incredible meal!! Definitely a repeat visit in our future!!
