Gaylords now rebranded as The Plantation House by Gaylords offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Located in the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen.     Beautiful setting and all the food was excellent. Great cocktails and wine menu. While we love the Beach house restaurant, we felt the food overall at Hualani’s was outstanding. Plus Hualani’s has a great outdoor fire pit to relax after dinner. It is within walking distance of Marriot Beach Club too.

    Located in a historic landmark, this restaurant and lovely shops sit in a former estate with grounds so lovely it relaxes the guests with its beautiful surroundings. There are photos and paintings of the property throughout. It is reminiscent of old Hawaii in so many ways; thank you for taking us back to a different time. The meal was excellent and service was very good. We had moctails while waiting in the lounge and they were perfect. Our dining was in a lovely gazebo which was picturesque. The food as mentioned was wonderful.
