Lunch was delicious!! Our server Robert was fantastic and thoughtful to bring an extra consumé cup knowing it’s my favorite when our entreés were a bit delayed. Always a treat to dine here. Order the ahi sandwich- best on the island.

Holy smokes ! Blown away ! Our server Shelly (sp) was amazing ! Her recommendation of the Tataki salad was 100000% spot on . With the bread and sauces to start , followed by that salad , we couldn’t imagine it getting better . Enter the butternut squash risotto. To the moon ! Followed by the eye steak Korean style . We had so much fun on our impromptu date . Thank you Shelly for making our day amazing ! Can not wait to come back ! The spicy kitty is a must get as well as the house soda . Each food item that we ordered tasted fantastic! The prime ribeye and the medallion tenderloin were so tender, juicy, and very flavorful. We loved the seafood tower, although we expected to be presented as a "tower" as in other restaurants, but of course that did not affect the enjoyment of it. Our server, Norman, was awesome. He was so genuine, friendly, and very helpful with the menu. His suggestions for the wine and appetizers was spot on! His service & personality was top notch! The view from our table was amazing. This place has now become one of our favorites!

Merriman's Ward is definitely our first preferred spot for wino wine share get togethers. Food's fantastic and approachable and the corkage is still wino friendly compared with other places that have corkage charges set to discourage bringing special bottles to share with friends. We enjoyed a 3 hour commiseration over a bottle of Radio Silence! Servers were attentive but not intrusive--they let us do our wine share thing; very nice and appropriate wine glasses. All in all a place not to be missed. Thanks and mahalo again Merriman's Ward!!
