Restaurants near Kaiulani Playground

A friend took me there earlier tonight for my birthday. We got there during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and number of items on the happy hour menu. It ends at 5:30 and lots of places end it at 5 so we started out with a good impression. She got the Kailua pig quesadillas and I got fish and chips. She ordered the green beans as well. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was friendly and was very familiar with the food and drinks on the menu. My cocktail was called something crush. Yummy! Overall a really great experience.

I would like to say thank you to the manager. She was so gracious in expressing why my request for the table 57, 58 cannot be given. I know the rules and it’s just a request with no assurances. I guess my request is always given except today. I wanted to walk out but it he manager gave us good options and was so kind and parity me. Thank you.

Our experience was spectacular. I had been here once before but it was a first for my husband who was blown away. Kalei and Peter were our servers for the evening and they were attentive and absolutely amazing. Then, THE FOOD. We had the bruschetta, calamari and oysters to start the meal. I also had the coconut mojito. All fantastic. I had the prime ribeye for my entree which was cooked to perfection. Hubby had the monstrous crab legs that were deshelled by Peter table side, sweet and perfectly seasoned. To finish we shared a special birthday dessert which was the lilikoi crème brûlée. This was a meal and experience that we still talk about. Thank you again Kalei and Peter! Everything was amazing!

This was our first time at Mariposa and we loved it! We had the Pan Scallops, Laksa Curry, and Salmon Ochasuke and we were more than pleased with our selections. I had the Haleakala nonalcoholic drink that was such a treat as were the popovers with strawberry butter. For dessert we had Mango Cheesecake and Kona Coffee Gelato. The staff were so nice and attentive and made our first visit a wonderful experience! We are returning!!

Amazing food, amazing service. Always happy when we dine at Fete. We split two of the entree specials and could barely believe how good they were. Thank you to everyone at this fine, fine restaurant!
