Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing service. Over the years my wife and I find service in restaurants has been going down. This experience at state & main will have us going back. The food was incredible, huge portions but the service... Our server Carly was one of the best servers we have had in YEARS and because of her service alone, we will be going back in a heart beat.

We loved our first meal at Chop! Professional and courteous from beginning to end. We were quickly serviced by their team and were very impressed with our waitress, Amanda. Our Prime Rib was absolutely delicious, and the noise level was appreciated where I could easily hear my husband but enjoyed the positive community ambiance. The restaurant in every corner appears top-notch. Thank you!

The dining experience at Black Tartan Kitchen is simply exceptional. From the food (amazing), the presentation, wine pairings, service, and ambiance, all aspects of this restaurant are outstanding. Chef Ian takes the time to describe each course and almost everything is locally sourced so you are supporting businesses and families in the community. Ian also takes the time to visit each table to ask about your dining experience. The Black Tartan is Carleton Place’s hidden gem, and we absolutely love dining there. This is a must if you appreciate great food and fine dining at its best!!

Love going to NeXT because the food experience and ambience is always so exceptional. Barb, who was a pleasure to be served by, made us some great drinks and great recommendations. Thank you to the staff at NeXT & we look forward to the next experience with you. Anna
