- KKarenLancashire •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoFood was absolutely delicious, staff were welcoming and attentive. They did find it difficult to keep up with serving and clearing when it got busier but the atmosphere was great and we will definitely be back for more!More infoOPA Greek RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Greek• Windermere•4.4

- DDanCumbria •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We had really nice Christmas lunch. Food was great, as were the staff. Also a good atmosphere, with music and everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Hadn't been before, so will be good to go back when it's warmer and have a look around the marina at the same time.More infoThe Boathouse | Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Windermere•4.1
- AAnnNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.More infoThe Lakeview Restaurant at Macdonald Old England HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Windermere•4.3
