Restaurants near Jefferson County Courthouse Annex

My colleagues and I went today and had a 5 star lunch just like we would’ve experience at dinner there. Our server, Shelby, and her assistants Max and Kebra, were pleasant and observant. Our every need was met and they left room for us to discuss business. They were all so incredibly attentive without being intrusive, a rare balance. For food: Lobster Mac, divine. Lunch Salmon Bowl was *chefs kiss. The new Skillet Cookie dessert, holy heck, She’s good!... And to who ever made my Don Julio margarita, bless you. I cannot recommend enough the continual level of hospitality and culinary excellence that Jeff Ruby’s provides. I’m looking forward to the next time already. Merry Christmas!

There were 6 of us and each meal was outstanding! I had the sea bass, which even some of the best restaurants can disappoint on that dish, but Swizzle’s was one of the best I’ve ever had. The salmon was also good, as were the steaks and prime rib, which were all cooked perfectly to order.

Absolutely fantastic evening! Food and service are beyond excellence. I love this restaurant.

We love Morton's. Other than the restaurant at the casino in Indiana and Char in Nashville, they have the best Steaks around! I wouldn't bring our ten year old again bc the cheapest steak is $55, and he's ten. We always love going here. You can dress up a little, drink a little, be more casual, etc. It's just a great vibe with great food and drinks. Also, idk of anywhere else you can get an A5 steak in Louisville, so if you're a steak-phile like we are, don't skip this place. It's not somewhere we can go more than a few times a year bc of the $300+ bill for two or $400+ bill for 3, but that just shows you how good the food is if you can spend that kind of money and not be angry when you leave haha.
