Vela Kitchen Pleasantville has become our local "Cheers." Everyone knows our names, the food is consistently yummy, and the experience always fun. Michael and Joanne are the quintessential hosts, always welcoming us with hugs and smiles. We are devoted customers and have told many friends and neighbors to support this wonderul local establishment.

New Years Day brunch with friends. Brunch menu was extensive for all, and all dishes were excellent. Wait staff were very attentive.

Enjoyed our dinner , croquettes were amazing as were the meatballs on the tapas menu. We both had the galcian chicken , very tasty. We shared the Spanish version of crème brûlée with our cappuccino . The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We did not get to go upstairs for the lounge, but I’m sure if it’s half as nice as the main dining room you’ll enjoy it. The only problem was finding the correct door to go in, which happens to be in the parking lot and does not have a sign .  the restaurant has a sexy vibe and a beautiful bar. The employees were very pleasant. We will return.

Consistently excellent. Creative pasta dishes and simple but high quality fish entrees.

A great experience from the food to the service. It's such a lovely, cozy place! Will be back again
