- EEmily MarieSingapore •1 review5.0Dined todayDefinitely instagrammable!! I have “Hungry Like A Wolf” on our reel 😮💨 Music please! We dined in at the new Wolf by Vanderpump, located in Harveys Lake Tahoe that opened in April 2024, which showcases actress turned entrepreneur/restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump’s signature design aesthetic, blending rustic and luxurious elements to create a distinctive dining atmosphere. The interior features bespoke furniture, antler chandeliers, and a central bar adorned with stone wolves, evoking a “cabin chic” ambiance that complements the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. I feel like i walked into a Restoration Hardware store that i am obsessed with. The dining experience at Wolf by Vanderpump is crafted to delight guests with its ingenuity and delicious flavors. The menu features reimagined classics and decadent shareable bites, using regionally sourced and inspired ingredients from California. Signature dishes include fried goat cheese bites paired with hot honey and a cabbage and pear slaw, herb and gruyere Wolf bread served with hot honey , AHI TARTARE TOSTADAS Wonton Crisps, Citrus Soy Glaze, Avocado, Mango, Pomegranate ( just snacking with pomegranate lately) , Sesame, Cilantro, Red Chili WOLF SIGNATURE DOUBLE SMASH BURGER. Double Snake River Farms 4oz Wagyu Patties, Dill Pickles, Signature WOLF Aioli, Havarti, Muenster, Crispy Tobacco Onions and PAN ROASTED CHILEAN SEABASS Potatoes Anna, Smashed English Peas, Warm Asparagus & Leek Salad. The cocktail menu is equally intricate, offering unique and visually appealing drinks such as the “Pumped Up Kicks” espresso martini garnished with a glazed donut hole, and the “Giggy Tonic,” a lavender-infused concoction. I ordered the drink with cotton candy and 18 Karat Gold Flake SHEEP’S CLOTHING - JALAPEÑO STRAWBERY MARTINI.! Overall, dining at Wolf by Vanderpump offers a unique and indulgent experience, combining a thoughtfully designed interior with a menu that emphasizes both flavor and presentation.More infoWolf by Vanderpump - Harveys Lake TahoePrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Stateline•4.4

The food was great, a tad on the expensive side but you pay extra for the ambiance. There was a live band who was playing hits and so much fun. Great, strong drinks. We will always come back here!More infoBar of AmericaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Truckee•4.5
- LLilyWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy party ran into traffic issues, but the assistant manager (Charlie) and manager were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to change the reservation several times. In the end, they weren’t able to make it, but we were still able to be seated as a smaller group. The food was prompt and delicious. The server in the water server were very helpful and kind. Eating at Hell’s Kitchen was on my son’s bucket list and it did not disappoint. He said the octopus was the best he’s ever had. He enjoyed every morsel of every dish while recounting the Gordon Ramsay episodes. Thanks for helping what was a hectic evening become a perfect evening. We had to rush out to meet the rest of our party so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the dessert, that was our only regret. But we’ll be back !More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Lake Tahoe Harveys Resort Hotel & CasinoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Stateline•4.5
- PPeterVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Our meal for four at the Dining Room @ Village Lodge was very good. The setting is beautiful, the service friendly and professional, and the food was solid-some terrific, some disappointing. The dining room is quiet, relaxed, and friendly. Our pretty table looking out on the snow was pretty and comfortable. We ordered cocktails while looking over the menu, and it took a while to deliver from the bar. In the mean time, home made incredible Parker rolls and a tasty amuse bouche from the chef arrived. Salads were fresh and terrific - one baby lettuce, and one chicory. Our three appetizers - hamachi crudo, scallops, and octopus- were worthy, especially the crudo and octopus (tender, with charred edges). All fantastic so far. The entrees were slightly disappointing. Fresh California halibut was fine but so overcooked that it was dry and tough, too bad! The risotto was a bit bland and starchy, probably because the flavoring ingredient was pumpkin. Mushrooms, asparagus, or other veggie would have been less novel but tastier bases. We asked for parmesan, which our server brought quickly with no complaint. Last, we got the duck breast, which was advertised as "confit" but was more like a regular duck breast (I am used to duck confit as the leg slow-cooked and tender, so may not understand what "confit" means with breast). Anyway, the duck was solid. We did not try the Brick Chicken or fresh sugo pasta, but neighboring diners commented favorably about them. We skipped the $95 australian wagyu steak. On a menu where other entrees are $30-$50, a $95 steak stuck out. And from 10,000 miles away? A $60 California or Nebraska steak would have been snapped up. The high price and superrich flavor of wagyu didn't excite us. Overall a good meal. More simple California comfort dishes would be better for us. The wine list is an "A" by the way. Short and with many excellent whites and reds for normal restaurant prices (and a few over the top prices).More infoThe Dining Room @ Village Lodge - Sugar Bowl ResortPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Truckee•4.7
- SStephenLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 22, 2024We had a terrific meal in a refined, cozy, and quiet dining room. There was a fire in the central fireplace, a view over the snow covered golf course, and the food was excellent. 2 of us shared a starter of grilled octopus, my wife had beef stroganoff, and I had prime rib, accompanied by a Nero d’Avola from Sicily. Although the room was nearly full, it was pleasantly quiet which was relaxing and made it easy to talk Our server, Michael, is outstanding! He is pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine list. He has taken care of us before and always makes dinner at the Lodge a great experience.More infoThe Lodge Restaurant & PubPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Truckee•4.1
