Restaurants near InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza

We decided to come here for my wife’s birthday dinner because we wanted a place specifically that specializes in seafood and M&S knocked it out of the park!! Our server (agustan?) I want to say he was fantastic and had great recommendations for food and drinks we also tried four different drinks and they were all phenomenal. 10/10 would definitely recommend to friends and look forward to our next trip back.

As Capital Grille is a holiday tradition, this year was no exception. The wine selection, paired with the Gorgonzola Steak was a highlight of the meal. Non rush atmosphere with top notch service from the moment of arrival. Definitely a Plaza destination year round but especially during the holiday season.

We had a wonderful family dinner at Gram & Dun. Ambience, food and service from Andrea were amazing. Thanks for a special start to the holiday season!

I was disappointed when they seated my party of 5 ( reservation for 6) at a table that would be adequate for 2.5 people. (The 5th person flatware/plates sliding into their lap) the exact table requested for multiple reasons-when placing this reservation was empty 1.5 hrs of my dinner party.. as we were leaving, then seated party 6 at the particular table So the broken table & table we moved to could have accommodated the 8pm guests FACT: Children should not be seated in the Sonoma room as the volume of crying increases & echoes -miserably for us adult only patrons 😳

We made reservations then decided to eat in the bar so we could watch the Lions/Bears game. Great choice as the service with Conner was great! Thanksgiving dinner was super yummy and of course amazing wine. We are wine club members who will be back!!
