- KKelvin &CharHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was the 2nd time I visited Koya Houston and I tried the wings and they were very good in flavor, however they were old. Hard , we did inform the waiter and he was to let the chef know! But I didn’t get the chance to enjoy them being tender! But we will be back!More infoKoya - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Midtown•3.8
- SScottVIPAtlanta Metro •10 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Second time here but over a year in between and it was just as good as the first time. Service can be a little hit or miss, as they are stretched like most restaurants these days. Have some patience, and they will take care of you. The food is really good with lots of variety and good value packages of fixed price Japanese BBQ meals for various sized guest tables. We had the Holiday special for 3 and it was a ton of food. Probably enough to feed 4 or 5 with a variety of meat, chicken, and shrimp. While it may not be the highest quality Japanese or Korean style BBQ places in town, it's very good and worth the money.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Houston, TX | MidtownPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.2
- LlaurieHouston •51 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024The food is the best sushi in America. I go to restaurants in NY, LA, Vegas, Miami. This is the best sushi in the country. The dishes are creative and prepared like you would find at a Michelin-star restaurant. I have gone here for Christmas, New Years Eve, Anniversary, Birthday over the years. Always a great. Not inexpensive, but worth every dollar for the quality. Drinks are creative. If you are z champagne drinker they even have my favorite, Ruinart. The only opportunity was we brought a baby and a little tough for seating choices. But we were fine and the baby didn't make a peep. Eat, enjoy, celebrate.More infoUchi HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Montrose•4.9
