Our server was very nice. My friend and I loved our entrees and my affogato was delicious. We were in a bit of a hurry and everything came out quickly and we made it to our show in plenty of time.

Excellent experience ! The food was amazing , escargot was top notch . The short rib raviolis were also amazing. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend , great place to eat especially before our show at the Beacon theatre !

This was my fourth visit to this lovely relatively new spot in the Upper West Side. There is an elegance about this restaurant, its presentation, staff, the bar area, everything front to back. The staff is uniformly excellent, attentive however not overbearing. A wine menu that is lovely, and while not inexpensive what I've had have all been delightful. The food selection is not overwhelming, which is a good thing. I'd strongly recommend their halibut, their pastas, salads.... you can't go wrong. While this is not an inexpensive venture, to me it defines "value added." Which translates to.... "value add is what you're willing to pay for." In the case of Sempre Oggi, I'd say it's a home run or at the very least, a triple. Even if you're not a baseball fan. :).

Tucked into Central Park, Tavern on the Green was the perfect holiday experience to round out our Christmas in NYC trip! Cozy and festive decor paired with impeccable service and delectable food makes this a “must try” for anyone looking to soak in the magic that is Christmas in New York! I highly recommend the honey roasted fig appetizer and the pan seared scallop entree.
