Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine. The original Hot and Hot Fish Club was founded in the late 1700’s by the planters of All Saints Parish. The social club was dedicated to epicurean pursuits; gourmet food, strong drinks and festive times. The first club was said to be on Drunken Jack Island, located just a few miles south from here. Members of the original club described their past time spent on the island as the “happiest hours of their lives.” The Club was dismantled and finally laid to rest after the Civil War. An ever shifting sand bar off the coast of Huntington Beach State Park is all that remains of the original site. The Hot Fish Club today is located in the oldest existing restaurant building on the Grand Strand. Hot Fish Club remains a favorite gathering place today for discriminating locals and is open to everyone seeking Great Food, Great Drink, and Lively Conversation, in the spirit of those earlier revelers.     She crab soup was spoiled. They changed the original recipe. Epic mistake. It was, dare I say 100% inedible. He said quote they are tring to add rice to help. Just call it. DOA. 1 1st level seafood tower was incredible. Worth 3 times what we paid. The Antebellum ambiance is experential and I soakeff it up like a sponge baby!!! The filet was unctouos, umami and beautiful. Diver Scallops need work. Hire a better saucier.

    The food and experience at Church and Union is one of a kind. Our waiter, Kyle, was an incredible host as he guided us through courses of delicious food and drinks. Be weary of a later reservation as the restaurant has a live DJ starting around 10pm. Overall, a must go to while traveling through Charleston, SC!

    Truly awesome and beautiful experience at the independent. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. We were there for Valentine's Day and the food was phenomenal as well as the service. We were so well taken care of from start to finish. Jen, the manager was so nice and willing to do whatever it took to make our experience very memorable. Thank you everyone.
