Food was great and the waitress (Elaine) was even better. Waitress was very attentive and not intrusive. The rest of the staff was also very professional too. The presentation of the food was a lot better than I expected. It made the food taste even better. All in all a very nice dining experience.

Mari was a fantastic server. Food was exceptional!

My partner and I had a fabulous experience at 97 West. We grabbed breakfast the morning after NYE and fell in love with the atmosphere of the bar. I had the Tex-Shuka, which was similar to a traditional shakshuka but with smoky salsa instead of the traditional, sweeter, tomato-based sauce. My partner had the Steak & Eggs breakfast - one truly standout dish for just a traditional "steak and eggs" plate! The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium-rare and was well-seasoned, while the vinegar-based sauce on the side complimented everything perfectly. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast, especially for the prices! Great value for your money here.
