Restaurants near Heartland Hotel

My husband and I came in for lunch today. He had the Italian Sausage soup and the Spicy Rigatoni. I had the Panzanella Salad and the Spaghetti Beef Ragu. We also shared the cheesecake for dessert! Everything was delicious! The food tastes wonderful. Really a nice treat to have the food freshly prepared. We are always pleased with the food and service at ORO! Our experience at the Keg is always good and we have eaten an multiple locations in the Edmonton area. Today our service was fantastic!!! The waitress was quite attentive and polite! We were however seated right in front or fireplace in the lounge side, it was romantic at first, but after about 15 min it was was very hot and hard to enjoy our meal, even the ice melted in our glass in about 10 min. We did eventually ask for it to be shut off half way through our meal. If you are seated here make sure it is not for long definitely not for the duration of the meal. We had a hard time enjoying our food and drinks because of the heat. Our meal was served in a timely manor and we did enjoy the flavors and plating, our steak was a little over cooked, but not enough to complain about. The seasonal veggies were delightful!! We enjoyed the desserts and as always the cheese cake was our favorite and we absolutely love the raspberry topping seved today and we think it should be a regular feature!! Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day less of a chore for both of us as we have hectic schedules!! 💘

The whole dining experience was wonderful . The servers were prompt, polite , pleasant and provided good knowledge of the menu items. The food presentation was excellent. We were not rushed nor ignored. Kudos to the management for providing a wonderful dining experience. Dave and Jean Duniec

Our waitress, Alexa, was great, very knowledgeable. She was very attentive. The ambience was nice, very open and it wasn't too loud. Food was good, a little over priced but it was an overall good experience.

This was our first time at the Canadian Brewhouse in Fort Saskatchewan. We thought it was great! They had our table reserved and noticed it right away. Service was excellent. Our server was the best. Just the right amount of help and privacy. Food is always good at Brewhouse. We are working our way through the menu. We will be back!
