Brilliant outdoor front corner table. Best view in the world. We were there for brunch, and while pricey it was absolutely delicious.

I’ve had my reservations  for two weeks and it was absolutely worth it. Every appetizer first course and entrée was spectacular. I got the oysters and the fried chicken and caviar sliders as well as the shrimp cocktail and everything was immaculate. The steak was super tender and the sauces were well rounded with lots of body. The star of the night was the striped bass. absolutely an amazing meal. We had two bottles of rosé and a Tres Leche cake worth every penny. Music was amazing, ambience was romantic. Perfect for date night or impressing business clients

Joey Manhattan Beach has become my go-to spot every time I’m in LA, which is often—at least once or twice a month. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan Village, this place is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly, setting the tone for an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. The space itself is stunning—spanning over 9,400 square feet, with a 2,100-square-foot patio, making it the perfect place for business travelers, corporate groups, tourists, or a fun night out with friends. It’s trendy, vibrant, and offers a relaxed, contemporary vibe. The abstract artwork by California artist Amber Goldhammer adds a unique touch, embodying the essence of an endless summer. The menu is phenomenal, offering a global selection of flavors. The Joey Classic steak is a favorite, and the herb-crusted salmon is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Whether you’re stopping by for brunch, lunch, dinner, happy hour, or a late-night bite, you’ll find something to love. And let’s not forget the stellar beer and wine selection, plus craft cocktails that keep the evening going. What truly makes Joey Manhattan Beach special is the impeccable service. A huge shoutout to Assistant General Manager Gina Blake, who went above and beyond to make our night exceptional. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel like VIPs. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about every guest’s experience, and Gina does it effortlessly. Our server, Simone, was fantastic, ensuring our table was always taken care of with the perfect balance of attentiveness and charm. If you’re flying into LA, a local, or just passing through, Joey Manhattan Beach should be your “Cheers.” Whether you’re here for business, a girls’ night, or a casual upscale evening, this place delivers on every level. And of course, kudos to Executive Chef Ramie Arbid—the culinary artistry here is unmatched.

Overall it’s a very reliable place to dine. Food is always good. Portions can be skimpy depending on what you order. The salad is not enough to split. Excellent service. Ask for a table that is not in the middle of the crowded tables. We think it’s a mistake not to offer complimentary bread when sitting down and waiting for your meal. To charge $9 - $11 for bread turned us off. If the restaurant is afraid of their guest wasting bread, have the waiter or server ASK if they want bread and here are your options. No question, we would definitely go back. When reserving through OPEN TABLE, we indicated that we were celebrating an Anniversary. Nothing was said or offered acknowledging the Anniversary.

After Sunday mass my family and I come in for their Sunday Brunch weekly. It does not disappoint, the food is always fresh and warm. My favorite is the omelette station. It’s pretty awesome to see how everyone works together to pull off such great service and great food all at once. We always feel for welcome. We will keep coming back.
