- LLewisVIPNew Mexico •112 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIn times of large large increases in restaurant prices, smaller portions, bland flavors and so so service, Osteria continues to shine. We had the calamari and crab cakes for appetizers, and they were cooked perfectly. I had an unbelievable fish stew (the halibut melted in my mouth) and my wife had a huge veal shank that you could cut with a fork. Our service was attentive but not obtrusive. Osteria’s wine selections almost always include at least one really great California wine by the glass — last night it was one of our favorites, Bel Glos Telegraph Hill Pinot Noir. All of this, and our bill was under $200 including wine before tip.More infoOsteria D' AssisiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Santa Fe•4.1
