The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Everything was so good but you have to try the spectacular cornbread and gumbo! Great birthday celebration topped off with bread pudding. We will be back!

Amazing Experience!!! We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Rumi’s Kitchen in Houston. The ambiance of the restaurant was stunning—warm, inviting, and sophisticated with beautiful lighting and decor that set the tone for a special meal. The food was simply outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded our expectations. The Lamb Rack was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The Chicken Barg was juicy and seasoned beautifully, while the Koobideh was richly spiced and paired wonderfully with the aromatic rice dishes. The Zereshk Rice added a unique tart and sweet twist that complemented the proteins. We also tried their appetizers, including the Mast Khiyar and Lamb Hummus, which were fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. To end the meal, the White Chocolate Cardamom Cake and 8-Day Budino were heavenly desserts—light, sweet, and the perfect way to finish. Rumi’s Kitchen truly delivers a fantastic combination of food, service, and atmosphere. This is my fourth time dining at Magdalena. We have tried many things on the menu and everything has been excellent. The attention to detail, the presentation of the food, the ambience in the restaurant combine to make a pleasurable experience. The Osso Buco, mussels, seafood, pasta are very good.Someone in my party, Fortunately, always orders pizza and shares it with the others. I think the Pizza is the best Neapolitan in Houston. The salads are so fresh and presented so well every time I’ve been there. I also enjoy talking to the owner( and Head Chef) ; he visits each table and his stories from cooking around the world are quite interesting.

The butternut squash and the lemon pasta dishes were out of this world and rival anything I’ve had in Italy. Our servers were so attentive, and when chef McClean visited our table, it really made the birthday girl feel special. Fantastic and creative bar bites also hit the spot!
