- EEVIPNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy friends and I had an exceptional dining experience here, and we were thrilled with every aspect of our meal. The decor and ambiance struck the perfect balance between romantic and classy, creating an inviting atmosphere. We were particularly impressed with the extensive wine list and chose a Napa Valley Cabernet, which was perfect. The food exceeded our expectations, showcasing thoughtful ingredients and masterful preparation. The tomahawk steak, with its beautifully charred exterior and tender, flavorful marbling, was a true standout. We couldn’t resist trying a pasta dish and were delighted by the rigatoni with sausage—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For sides, we shared the creamed spinach and mac and cheese, both of which were incredibly well-executed and far from ordinary. To top it all off, the sugar brownie was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Whether you’re planning a night out with friends or looking for the perfect spot for a date, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. It’s a night to remember!More infoPrimi Italian SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• West Islip•4.8
- SSarahNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhat a wonderful experience. I work in the restaurant industry, I rarely have a Saturday Night off to experience the other side of the dining experience and let me tell you it was superb. I made a note on my reservation saying my boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we started off the night with a toast of complimentary Prosecco on the house. We also Indulged in the crabcake appetizer, as well as the duck cassoulet that was phenomenal. On Saturday evenings, they offer a château Briand for two for 135 and couldn’t pass up that deal. The martini cart girl was a pleasant surprise as well as the presentation of their bread service with a sharp quick steak knife stabbed through it on the table. Their wine selection by the glass as well as splits and full bottles complemented their level of professionalism and service. We definitely splurge that evening to celebrate, and we look forward to coming back on just a regular evening for dinner in the near future. - AAnthonyVIPNew York City •28 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe came back to Besito after an experience that was subpar from the summer time. Sometimes restaurants simply have bad nights. That summertime evening was simply a bad night. Our dinner last night was simply outrageous! From the ceviche appetizer down to the branzino el dorado main course, filet mignon standouts. Service was superior!! Attentive. Simply On Point from start to finish. Management checking on tables throughout. Frankly, I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Besito is back and back with a vengeance! Thank you for a wonderful mealMore infoBesito Mexican - West IslipPrice: Moderate• Mexican• West Islip•4.7
- PPatriciaVIPNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe returned to the Argyle Grill for dinner, now under new ownership. The interior appears much the same, though it had obviously had a deep cleaning with some lighting and decor changes. Our server Tom was was very nice and was also excited to share his knowledge about the new, upgraded menu. There were plenty of staff assisting in the dining room who were efficient and unobtrusive. The entire meal was creative and delicious. The menu is now mostly a la carte, so the total cost was higher than before, but the quality of the food matched the cost. Best filet mignon I’ve had in recent memory, and the side of roasted cauliflower was plentiful and superb! If it’s in your budget, I recommend you give it a try.More infoArgyle Grill & TavernPrice: Very Expensive• American• Babylon•4.5
