Gloria Gati is the new restaurant of chef George Papakostas who jokingly refers to Gloria as the older sister of Vittoria Gati, another famous restaurant of his in Glyfada. Gloria is located in a historic building in the Athens center just 50 meters from Syntagma square. It is defined by an eclectic vintage design in a very cosy space where the pizza oven takes center stage. The bar serves award winning cocktails and over 100 wines from Greece and around the globe. The menu is Italian with a focus on homemade pasta and quality meats. The pizza is made from a 1937 sourdough and baked in a traditional oven imported from Naples. Some of the signature dishes include the steak tartare, arancini bolognese, the raviolo cacio pepe, the reginette al tartufo for truffle lovers as well as pollo francese and the ossobuco which is cooked for 12 hours. A tiramisu is a must here accompanied by a single estate espresso. Outside seating is available all year round in the courtyard of St George church

    Sensational dining experience. The restaurant is recommended by Michelin and it should definitely get a star. The qualities I appreciaterd the most was the authentic Greek tastes, the fresh but not exotic ingredients combined in the most inventive way. Paired with an excellent presentation we could have asked for nothing more for a romantic evening. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff, great value for money. Cannot recommend the place enough. Congrats to the chef and all the personnel. You made it!

    We were order classical hamburger for two off us and we like it . İts delicious and cuisy not salted much like has to be expected. Good music good servise :) you feel like they are ready to serve you when ever you need. Also we have baby boy and they are help us for him too. Thanks all to boys and girls in there they are awesome :)

    Wonderful food, examplery service in a great city. Excellent wine served by a very well experienced sommelier, she was brilliant as was all the staff. In a lovely location next to the theatre and easy to get to. Thoroughly recommend!!

    this was the perfect choice for us. It was beautifully decorated well attended limited number of people highly recommend reservations for any encounter, and the chef was unbelievably attentive and exactly what one would want for a Christmas Eve dinner

    Lovely setting, warm and practical service, very good food, helpful wine steward. Beef tartar was excellent, pork and cabbage was delicious, salads were out of this world, beef with pasta was yummy but not hot. Overall, a wonderful rooftop experience with an amazing view.
