Tomodachi Izakaya & Bar on Little Malop Street in the centre of Geelong is a tribute to the corner bars of Tokyo, with a focus on japanese tapas and warm dishes mates that come off it. The hospitality staff, specifically the gregarious female (B) with lots of rings, was outstanding. She was so friendly, and knowledgeable about the delicious food. She was attentive but not over the top. She was the highlight, with the delicious share plates coming a close second. The ambience was cool, as was the music and the decor. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning some time soon:) Thank you for a lovely experience.

The food here was fabulous. We shared a charcuterie board and then a few very tasty pizzas. We all had different drinks and everyone enjoyed them. I wanted to try something different and the young man working there, listened to what I like, then proceeded to make me a wonderful gin cocktail. The prices were great too. This distillery is hidden away in Grovedale, but I'd recommend it in a heartbeat
