- AAnnettevipNew York City •52 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoMy friend and I meet here twice a year to celebrate our birthdays as it's equidistant from our homes west and east of there. The clam chowder with mushrooms was delicious, as was the Parisian salad - both of which I ordered. My friend ordered the vegetable soup terrine and a hamburger with fries. The only complaint was the burger was not medium rare as she had ordered it, but medium. She only ate 1/2 of it. The french fries here are out of this world delicious. We only enjoyed coffee as our dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, just enough attention paid to us, and food arrived quickly.More infoThe LakehousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bay Shore•4.7

- KKimvipNew York City •36 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely everything we ordered was perfect. And it was hard to make a decision so we’ll have to to come back. There were so many options that I loved. My friend and I ordered dirty martinis, mine had blue cheese, stuffed olives, and hers did not because she doesn’t like that. They were perfect. Then we both ordered a Manhattan with Rye, which was also lovely, although the restaurant should probably invest in some better cherries… You should have Amarena cherries on hand with craft cocktails. For appetizers, we got the risotto balls, the meatballs, and the artichokes oreganata… Everything was fantastic and we took some home. For dinner I ordered the Andrew’s chicken, my husband ordered the spicy chicken with the cherry peppers, and our friends ordered the shrimp over spinach. We were way too full for dessert but next time I’m getting the espresso martini flight for dessert! Our waiter was not around enough, but he was super busy from what I could tell— the place was jammin.’ However, there is plenty of other busing staff and food runners that were always on hand to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be back. More infoITA KitchenPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bay Shore•4.4
- GGaryNew York City •12 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a 6:30 reservation and from the time we sat down to the time we left it was a great experience! We started with the calamari appetizer which was fried perfectly and the addition of cherry pepper “chips” (sliced cherry peppers lightly dredged in the calamari coating, and then fried) was a nice pop of heat. It added another layer of flavor that was unexpected, but very welcome. My wife got the Steak Frittes. The steak was cooked perfectly and fries had great flavor. I got the whole branzino and was not disappointed! The fish was cooked perfectly and the taste was phenomenal! We will definitely be returning!More infoThe JamesPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Babylon•4.5
- BBethNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024We joined some friends at Roadtrip last night- the first time for all of us. We were instantly impressed by the varied and imaginative menu! So much fun and difficult to choose between the many interesting choices. I and my female friend went with the Brussels sprouts for the app…terrific. The guys shared the bacon in Vermont maple syrup- also delectable. Three of us chose entrees from that week’s Wyoming menu (the chicken with lavender honey and the bison meatloaf) and my husband chose the ribs off the regular menu. We were all so amazed by the flavors and presentation and vowed to go back. This is a wonderful new venture and bonus for area diners! Kudos!More infoRoadtripPrice: Expensive• American• Bay Shore•4.5
