Restaurants near Fox Theatre

As you enter the restaurant, the decor really is beautiful and well done. And the whole place feels warm and welcoming. Our server, Shena, was awesome with great recommendations and outstanding service. Oh yeah, and the food was brilliant. A very authentic experience and a definite highlight on our trip to TO:)

I've done two reviews already. Shout out to Bailey this time...great server...food as always excellent New dish tried..steak/shrimp/ravioli $37 amazing value and truly delicious!! Apple pie with Maple ice cream .as always is a great treat at the end. One particularly special thing about Bailey is when we were finished the dessert she says. Would you like the bill now or later? That is fantastic cuz I find many restaurants you sit there for 25 minutes waiting for the waiter to come around for the bill and more often you have to wave them down and none of that this time which was amazing!!

We showed up before an event at Scotia Plaza and had to eat reasonably quickly. A happy engaging waiter showed us the fresh fish and gave us enthusiastic opinion which was consistent with the food. The food was delicious. The service was prompt and polite. The staff communicated with each other. We made our event in plenty of time. We paid a lot of money for a nice meal. We felt like we had a special night.

I recently visited Daphne for the second time, and celebrated by birthday. One key factor for me recommending this spot and for me coming back time after time is the consistency. The food, service, ambiance and vibe is my type. An elegant intimate space that is not too crowded but spacious enough to accommodate the ideal amount of guests to help curate a beautiful and memorable experience. It's also no huge surprise that I've gravitate to this spot as Daphne is managed under the same umbrella as some of my other favourites - Bisha, Oliver Bonicini and Sofia. Once again, the consistency is on point.

We dined here for brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday, after two attempts to celebrate with family over the holidays were postponed due to illness of a number of family members. My husband chose brunch at the Distillery District and I suggested Cluny’s based on some great lunch and dinner experiences I had when I worked downtown. We travel this time from Richmond Hill and the drive was definitely worth it. Can’t say enough about the small plates and brunch options. Thank you!
